Other Facilities In reception we have compiled an INFORMATION BOOK about the island of Kefalonia which we hope you will enjoy reading. Please keep this book in the bar or reception area. Also in reception is a popular BOOK SWAPPING LIBRARY and also a magazine rack for you to share your old magazines and newspapers with other guests. If you fancy a few BOARD GAMES , please help yourself from the games box in reception and replace after use. POSTCARDS AND STAMPS may be purchased from the hotel and may be left for posting in the box provided on the reception desk. ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES will need a 2 pin adaptor in Greece and these can be bought from the bar. GREEK TOILETS unfortunately don't work in the same way as those in the UK! It is important that you do not flush toilet paper down the toilets in Greece - always dispose of it in the bins provided to prevent your toilet getting blocked! TAP WATER in Kefalonia is fine and the local people drink it. However, most visitors prefer to buy bottled water for their own safety. As the water here is very good, you should not worry about having ice in drinks or eating salads. Bottled water is on sale at the bar.
